The site, VHTrading.com, is not affiliated with or endorsed in any way, shape, or form with Van Halen, its current management, or Warner Brothers Records. It is completely fan-maintained and exists purely as an informational site and as a resource for Van Halen fans to get together to legally trade previously-unreleased recorded media. The official stance of VHTrading.com is that piracy and bootlegging for profit are wrong, and we do not advocate or support any such illegal activities in any way. Individuals who sell video or audio discs and/or tapes or trade commercially recorded material are not welcome here. Although we reserve the right to edit or refuse any material submitted to the site, VHTrading.com accepts no responsibility for any words or actions committed past, present, or future by any of VHTrading.com's visitors and/or any person who posts a profile or classified ad to the site or the forums. If Van Halen or their current management have any concerns or problems with any material posted on this site, I will abide by the band's wishes and remove any disapproved content immediately; or even remove the entire website, if so requested.

Types of Information We Collect Generally, you are free to browse the VHtrading.com site without submitting any personal information. We do not collect any of your personal information (such as a name, address or e-mail address) when you visit the VHTrading site for any reason, with the exception of registering for participation on out message board, the VH Trade Forums. Types of information collected on specific services on the VHTrading.com site are described in more detail below. Registration on Our Site VHTrading requires users who want to participate in the VH Trade Forums message boards to register. In order to register, you must provide us with a username (which does not have to be your real name), password and a valid e-mail address. This allows us to protect our community from abusive postings and provides a verifiable point of contact should legal questions arise. At any time, you have the ability to keep your e-mail address hidden from other users by selecting that option within your user profile. When you register, you have the option of providing some additional information such as occupation, interests, and homepage URL. This optional information is made available to other bulletin or message board users to foster a sense of community. If you have any concerns about providing this information, simply leave the fields blank and your registration will still be processed. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE you are not allowed to participate in the VH Trade Forums, or to provide any personal information on our site, without the express written content of a parent or legal guardian. E-Mail Notifications VHTrading will ocassionally sent out e-mails to registered members. Such e-mails are only meant to inform members of vitally important board or site information and/or major board upgrades. Minor, more frequent updates and news will be posted in the What's New forum on the boards and in the "News and Announcements" section on the VH Trade site home page. Cookies VHTrading uses browser cookies to facilitate your experience with the VH Trade Forums. These cookies are small sections of code that our server sends to your browser which it can then store on your hard drive. If you choose to accept these cookies, they enable us to recognize that your browser has previously visited and used the VH Trade Forums.
